Heronbrook Fisheries are situated just off the A519 at Slindon, two miles from Eccleshall. Set in 20 acres of the beautiful Staffordshire countryside there are now SIX amazing pools for you to try. All were designed and built by the owner Neil Dale. The first and most established is the Specimen Lake opened in 1994, followed shortly after by the Match Lake. The Canal then followed in 1996 to suite the pole angler. In 2002 the Bridge Pool was added. Just recently the Island Pool was opened and an extension to the Canal was made.

With the addition of the Island Pool during the summer the time was right to undergo extensive landscaping, with a large area being re-grassed and trees planted the fishery is starting to look spectacular. The car park has also grown along with the fishery. Other facilities have already or are being added to improve your visit to the waters. This includes another new pool Meadow.

Old Hough Coarse Fishery

Morans Moat

Moran’s Moat is situated beside Fan Lodge. It is a purpose-built fishery, roughly 110 metres long and 60 metres wide at the top. The water is around 11 metres wide and has 30 pegs. It was built with a shelf on either side and is 1.6 metres deep.

This water was first stocked with 1500 small tench, 2500 4" to 6" skimmers, several thousand mixed roach, carp, gudgeon and hybrids, then with several thousand more small carp from 3" to 8" and 100 common carp around 12" to 15".

It is possible to book this water for Matches by contacting the Match Secretary, at a minimum of ten pegs costing £3.00 per peg.

Partridge Lakes Fishery in Culcheth, near Warrington, Cheshire, offers superb quality coarse fishing on 8 different lakes. With 7 day ticket waters containing a mix of Carp, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Bream, Chub, Barbel and Tench, Partridge Lakes offers excellent fishing for the beginner or expert.

The Gold Lake is the largest water at Partridge Lakes Fishery covering an area of 3 acres with a depth of up to 15 ft and is for yearly members only. Gold Lake is with quality stocks of quality and specimen Carp, Chub, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Barbel, Tench and Perch. Gold lake is peaceful and quiet, and is surrounded by landscaped woodlands maintained to the highest standards to give top quality fishing to its private members throughout the year.
